Ronaldo in Ferrari Car Smash
By: Rob | January 8th, 2009
Cristiano Ronaldo smashed up his £145,000 Ferrari on his way to training, but incredibly, the winger got straight out of the car, and according to witnesses, appeared unhurt. The current Ballon d’Or holder was on his way from his Cheshire home, and was being tailed by keeper Edwin Van Der Saar, both of whom were fine, and later took part in training as usual.
Ronaldo was travelling through a tunnel on the Wilmslow Road – which is near the airport in Manchester – when the crash happened. He didn’t hit or damage any other cars or drivers, and hit only a barrier. Police have confirmed no-one else was involved in the accident except Ronaldo.
Ronaldo played from the bench in Uniteds 1-0 defeat at the hands of Derby last night.
United fans need to not worry, Ronaldo was unhurt, and indeed has a further £2m worth of cars sat in his garage. Think of the mans insurance!

I guess Ronaldo is somewhat used to hitting walls, it’s no wonder he wasn’t affected.
A couple points here though. I wonder if after the incident, Fergie was claiming the opposition was purposely after him all day and trying to bring him down? Also I wonder if after the accident he got out rolling on the ground?
A couple things that crossed my mind when I heard about this.
