Big start for Hull and Nasri as the Prem kicks off
By: Rob | August 16th, 2008
The season kicked off in earnest today, and the biggest result was for Hull City, who despite predictions from us at the Offside that they were going to do a Derby, picked up a win, which means they’ve already equalled Derby’s wins from last season. In the other games, the only team from the Big Four so far to have kicked off, Arsenal picked up a 1-0 win against an impressive West Brom side, Samier Nasri scored on his debut after just four minutes. Thier north London rivals, Spurs, suffered a surprise loss against Boro. Full Results after the jump.
Bolton 3 – 1 Stoke City
Everton 2 – 3 Blackburn Rovers
Hull City 2 – 1 Fulham
Middlesbrough 2 – 1 Tottenham
West Ham 2 – 1 Wigan
Arsenal 1 – 0 West Brom
UK viewers of course, can watch Match of the Day this evening to watch the highlights, Liverpool have just kicked off against Sunderland, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea and Portsmouth all kick off tomorrow.
