Nasri double keeps Arsenal in title hunt

Nasri is congratulated by Wenger after Arsenal won 2-1 against man UnitedArsenal 2 – 1 Manchester United

Arsenal defied the odds, and Offside predictions today as they beat Man United, despite a wonderful goal from Rafael toward the end. After looking uneasy in the league the last couple of weeks, and suffering a few injuries, Arsene Wenger’s side looked like they might not give much of a fight against Manchester United.

Arsenal can also forget about the capitulation against Tottenham Hotspur, despite United scoring in the 90th minute and the nail biting six minutes that followed, Arsenal held on, meaning they leapfrog United in the Prem table and happily sit third.

Maybe cause for slight concern for Sir Alex Ferguson though. United have now played all the away games against the big four, and have only picked up one point, at Stamford Bridge. With a game in hand however, they are still close enough to the frontrunners to ensure that this is indeed a four-horse race, and we have a very exciting second half of the season ahead.
